how conceited is apple...

So does apple think that Microsoft has nothing better to do than copy them?? Have a look at these pictures and tell me what you think.

Tiger vs. Longhorn

PS - Redmond is a part of MS and Longhorn is the next version of Windows, for the uninformed.

Brian-
Apple does have a long history of copyright lawsuits against Microsoft all the way back to Windows 1.0. I think those banners were simply a cleverly executed jab at Microsoft. And considering that the majority of Macintosh users turn to Apple because of their frustration with Microsoft, it couldn't be more appropriete to their target market.

It seems to me that Apple agreed to let MS use their features. And that they are just upset that Bill Gates took them for a ride. Also hasn't the rulings all been in MS's favor? Anybody can sue someone, it's whether they win or not that makes it worthwhile.

Well, lets just wait for both systems to come out and then determine which is the winnner. Not to make it sound like a contest at all. I admit that OSX is a great OS. But, they also have the advantage of only having to make it work for a limited amount of hardware. If apple was to make it for PC's (which by the way, I dont expect it to happen, it would be stupid for them to do that) then I believe that it would probably about half the quality it is now. MY 2 Cents
